HP Zero Client
Palo Alto, Calif., April 8, 2015 – HP today announced a bundle of new features for its high-performing HP t310 and HP t310 All-in-One Zero Clients. Zero Clients are the easiest endpoints to manage with no OS, no codecs and no software to maintain. These new features further improve the user experience and simplify tasks for IT administrators using cloud-based desktops in VMware Horizon and Amazon WorkSpaces environments.
These new updates arrive with the coupled release of Teradici® just the latest showcase in a run of enhancements for PCoIP® from Teradici and HP.

New features include improved VoIP audio for desktop-as-a-service (DaaS) solutions with Amazon WorkSpaces, a simplified interface for VMware® Horizon RDS apps, intuitive logons with Imprivata OneSign, added Smart Card support and encryption-based security lifts. The latest in a series of enhancements for PCoIP virtual desktop solutions from Teradici and HP, these new updates also include the release of Teradici firmware version 4.8.0.

Enhancement details for HP t310 and HP t310 All-in-One Zero Clients with Teradici firmware 4.8.0 include:
- Bria Virtualized Edition softphone client solution from CounterPath
- Simplified access to VMware Horizon RDS applications
- Imprivata OneSign recall logon
- Gemalto IDCore 3020 Smart Card added support
- Failover VCS address for Imprivata OneSign environments
- SHA-2 security update (SHA-1 Deprecation)
Price and Availability
These new features are currently available with Teradici firmware version 4.8.0 for Tera2 Zero Clients, and will be included on HP t310 and HP t310 All-in-One Zero Clients late April 2015, or added with a simple firmware flash and free download from the HP Support site.
The HP t310 and HP t310 All-in-One Zero Clients are available today starting at $345.00 and $529.00 respectively.
